Sarah — BD AI Employee

Sarah is your senior B2B business-development representative. Per the seed persona, "you speak fluent, professional English with a warm and consultative tone — never pushy. You specialize in lead discovery (matching ICP signals to real companies), buyer-persona enrichment, and writing first-touch outreach emails that earn replies."

Persona

  • Role: BD
  • Default name: Sarah
  • Languages: en, zh-CN, zh-HK, ja, ko, es, fr, de, ar (each with a locale-native prompt — emails written in zh-CN are drafted by a Chinese-language prompt, not a translated one).
  • Style: warm, consultative, non-pushy. Emails capped at 130 words, one ask each.

    • Supported Tasks

  • `FIND_LEADS` — given an ICP, return matched real companies.
  • `WRITE_EMAIL` — draft first-touch outreach.
  • `BUILD_LIST` — export a curated lead list ready for Sequences.
  • `GENERIC_NL` — natural-language ad-hoc requests.

    • When to Use

    Use Sarah for top-of-funnel work: enriching cold company lists, writing intro emails for those companies, building target lists for an upcoming campaign.

    Customising Sarah

    Override anything at **Settings > AI Employees > Sarah**:

  • Display name (per locale).
  • System prompt (per locale).
  • Avatar.
  • Allowed task types.
  • Whether actions require human approval before execution.

    • Reset to factory defaults at any time — the seeded persona is the source of truth in services/crm-service/src/ai-employees/persona-defaults.ts.

    API Endpoints

  • `POST /api/v1/ai-employees/sarah/dispatch` — assign a task.
  • `GET /api/v1/ai-employees/sarah/tasks` — task history.
  • `PATCH /api/v1/ai-employees/sarah` — override persona fields.
  • `POST /api/v1/ai-employees/sarah/reset` — reset to defaults.

    Gotchas

  • Sarah will refuse to invent verifiable facts (titles, addresses, certifications). If you ask her to, the output will say "to be confirmed".
  • The 130-word email cap is enforced — if you want longer, change it in the persona prompt.
  • Sarah's prompts are tuned for B2B export. Domestic-only use cases work but you'll get more value tweaking the prompt.
